Don Bosco Image Film School inaugurated its new academic year with a grand ceremony, graced by the esteemed Film Editor Ranjan Abraham. With over 26 years of experience in the Malayalam film industry and a portfolio of more than 100 films, Mr. Ranjan shared his invaluable experiences and insights with the students, inspiring the next generation of filmmakers. The inauguration took place in the presence of Fr. Varghese Kootungal, the Rector of Don Bosco Vennala, Fr. Eugene Dickson, the Director of Don Bosco Image, and Fr. Bastin Nellissery, the Dean of the film school, parents, staff, and students, all eager to embark on this new journey. Around 35 students have joined for the new courses in Direction, Editing, Sound Design, and Cinematography. Fr. Varghese Kootungal emphasized the importance of dedication and creativity in filmmaking. Fr. Bastin Nellissery shared his vision for the school’s future and encouraged students to make the most of the opportunities provided. The event concluded with an interactive session where students had the chance to ask questions and engage with the chief guest, setting a positive tone for the academic year ahead.
