The Don Bosco Short Film Festival (DOFF) was a celebration of cinematic brilliance, offering a platform for young filmmakers to shine. The event featured a stellar lineup of shortlisted films, including Ocha by Dipu Surendran, He & She by Joel Kuriyan Elias, Online by Kanmani, Adheena by Shanu Salman, Dog’s Tail by Rasi Fathima, Agram by Kenaz Mathew, and Golden Love by Sreyas Joseph. Each film showcased unique storytelling, creative direction, and technical excellence.
Adding to the glamour, the festival hosted an impressive guest lineup of industry experts, including Satheesh Kurup (DOP), Vishnu Agasthya (Actor), Sreejith Sreenivasan (Sound Designer), and Arun Chandu (Director), who inspired attendees with their insights and experiences.
The awards celebrated outstanding achievements in filmmaking, with Golden Love winning Best Movie and Best Cinematography, Agram securing Best Director and Best Editing, and Ocha taking home the award for Best Story. Adheena was recognized for Best Sound Design, and Online received a Special Mention for its remarkable contribution. DOFF 2024 highlighted the immense talent within the Don Bosco community and reinforced the importance of nurturing creativity and innovation in young filmmakers. The festival was a resounding success, leaving audiences inspired and eagerly anticipating the next edition.
