Don Bosco Image Film School organized an intensive two-week Actors Bootcamp from January 15 to January 26, designed to help aspiring actors build strong foundations in performance and on-camera acting. The workshop brought together industry professionals and enthusiastic participants who wanted to gain practical experience in acting for cinema.
The bootcamp was led by Joy Mathew (Actor & Director), Antony Sony (Director), and Vimal Raj (Acting Trainer), who guided participants through various aspects of acting, performance techniques, and film-set practices. Through interactive sessions and practical exercises, students explored character building, emotional expression, and the nuances of performing in front of the camera.
A major highlight of the program was the hands-on exposure to real film-set environments, allowing participants to understand how actors collaborate with directors and crew during production. The workshop also focused on helping participants prepare audition-ready showreels and included a professional portfolio photoshoot, enabling them to present themselves confidently for casting opportunities.
The Actors Bootcamp provided an immersive learning experience where participants could refine their skills, gain industry insights, and take their first steps toward pursuing acting in film and media. Through such initiatives, Don Bosco Image Film School continues to create platforms for aspiring artists to learn directly from experienced professionals and grow within the world of cinema.
