Our directing course is for directorial aspirants to learn about visual language and find their own unique voice. Storytelling, narrative design and structure, camera, composition, editing, basic terminology, and other tools, methods and techniques needed for a director’s skill set will be taught over the course period. We will teach you how to turn a written script into a visually compelling scene on the screen. Through practical sessions, the students will immerse themselves in making creative movies, short films and other visual content.

Our editing course teaches editing theories, principles, procedures, continuity, effects, movement, etc.- fundamental aspects of editing and visual storytelling. Through this course, students can learn how to assemble images and sounds into a finished movie. Throughout the duration of the course, students will learn the basic theories of cinematic montage as well as take part in practical sessions involving editing for actual film productions.

They are taught about images, sound, light and other aesthetic and technical tools that are used for cinematography. The short course will shed light on camera operation, composition and framing, lens choice, camera movement, setting proper exposure, lighting, collaboration, blocking, continuity and other aspects of visual storytelling. Besides theory, the students will get the opportunity to be part of film productions to fine-tune their craft.
